Slaton met Willingham in a weight loss center in Ohio. The couple was engaged just a few weeks after their first meeting, and their decision to tie the knot so quickly had the family questioning the motives for a ‘shotgun’ wedding and whether it could have been due to a possible pregnancy.

On the day of her wedding, Slaton could be seen having a case of cold feet, which she eventually gets over. She says in a confessional, “A year ago I didn’t even think I was gonna be alive,” she said in a confessional. “And now I’m getting married.”

Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
