Sandra Bullock hasn’t been able to catch a break lately – her long-term partner tragically passed earlier this month, and now she’s inadvertently become involved in a messy legal dispute surrounding the Tuohy family, the family the 2009 movie ‘The Blind Side’ was based on.

Way back in 2010, Sandra Bullock took home the coveted Academy Award for best actress for her compelling portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in the hit drama.

This movie was inspired by the true story of a Tennessee family who embraced and adopted Michael Oher, who would go on to make a name for himself in the National Football League (NFL).

However, the movie has come back into the spotlight recently in a negative way, which have cast some doubt over the heartfelt narrative depicted in the film. Michael Oher has accused the Tuohy family of never officially adopting him, rather, instead subjecting him to a conservatorship for their own financial gain.

In response, the Tuohy family has claimed that Oher isn’t quite telling the truth, and that he had previously attempted to extort a whopping $15 million from them.

At this point, no one knows what to believe…

Now that the movie has received renewed attention due to these bizarre and shocking accusations, certain people have called for Bullock’s Oscar to be revoked. Though, the actor who portrayed Oher in the movie, Quinton Aaron, has hit out at these suggestions.

Speaking to Fox News in a new interview, Aaron said: “There’s nothing that says she had anything to do with this. She was an actress who got hired to do a job, and she did it so well that she was rewarded for it. Why would you take that reward just because of what’s going on today, 14 years later?”

He added: “I wish they would just leave her alone because, you know, she’s going through her own things right now, you know with the love she just lost. You know, she suffered a great loss.”

Tragically, Bullock’s long-term partner, Bryan Randall, died from a long battle with ALS on August 5 at the age of 57, as previously reported.

“I’m far too familiar with the tragedy of losing a loved one, and it’s no easy feat. … My thoughts and prayers go out to her as well,” Aaron continued. “And the last thing she needs is for the Internet trolls to be coming at her talking about something, ‘We should take her Oscar.’ Like just — go sit down. Go. Stay home, sit down, get a job. You know what I mean? Just stop, leave her alone.”

“I’m a teddy bear, I like to think of myself as a teddy bear, but if you mess with the people I love, I will become a grizzly bear, just saying,” he declared.

Aaron then continued by speaking about how kind Bullock is as a person. “I loved her, her attitude about everything. You know, she was so welcoming… She was professional, but funny. Like, she’s hilarious,” he said.

“And then some of the advice, the word’s of wisdom she’s given me… that I took to heart. … She’s definitely played a big part and had a huge impact on my life.”

We can only hope Sandra Bullock doesn’t get any more unnecessary hate… After all, this new lawsuit against the Tuohy family has nothing to do with her!
