Rare photo of Elvis Presley’s twin grandkids emerges – and everyone’s saying the same thing
It’s been far from plain sailing of late where the world-famous Presley family is concerned.
Following the sudden, tragic passing of Lisa Marie Presley on January 12, 2023, grief has been the least of it for her loved ones. Bickering over the Presley estates and Lisa Marie’s will have ensued, with speculation insisting that Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, and daughter, Riley Keough, have found themselves at odds.
Yet there was cause for celebration last week, as Lisa Marie’s twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, graduated from middle school.
A picture soon surfaced on Instagram showing the girls sporting respective blond and red hair styles, with fans quick to noticed that they were joined by both Priscilla and Riley for the occasion.
Yet what surprised many was just how grown up Finley and Harper look now…
It was Priscilla who shared the photo to social media, along with the caption: “Happy Graduation girls! You’re now in high school!!!”
As per reports, the twins’ father Michael Lockwood was appointed their legal guardian in April, three months after Lisa Marie’s passing.
Yet, as stated, the legal road forward after Lisa Marie’s death was more complicated. A lengthy process ensued to determine the trustee of her estate, a matter only resolved last week.
Ultimately, Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley became the sole trusty, with Priscilla’s attorney sharing: “Everyone is happy, unified, together and excited for the future.”
In a June 13 filing, meanwhile, Priscilla moved to refute claims over infighting between herself and granddaughter Riley.
“My January 2023 petition was misconstrued in the press as a ‘fight’ over my beloved daughter’s trust,” she said at the time. “That was not the intent… My daughter’s passing was both devastating and heartbreaking. We have learned that the fans realize that we are ‘Just A Family.’”
She finished:”Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa’s wishes are what are most important to all of us. My granddaughter, through her counsel, along with my team worked diligently and tirelessly to resolve all misunderstandings as a family.”
In any case, Finley and Harper’s graduation photo appears to show that any rifts existing among the Presley ranks are beginning to heal.
Here’s to wishing them all the very best moving forward!
