Cop Who Was Fired For Sleeping With 6 Officers Lands Surprising New Job
Maegan Hall, the former Tennessee police officer whose involvement in a misconduct investigation drew national headlines, has returned to a quieter lifestyle and a previous career in healthcare.
Hall, 29, was terminated from the La Vergne Police Department after an internal investigation revealed inappropriate relationships between her and several male officers. The scandal led to multiple firings and suspensions within the department, including Patrol Officer Juan Lugo, Sergeant Lewis Powell, Detective Seneca Shields, and Sergeant Ty McGowan. Three others—Patrick Magliocco, Gavin Schoeberl, and K-9 officer Larry Holladay—were suspended for exchanging explicit messages or off-duty encounters.

Hall claimed in a later lawsuit that she had been “groomed” by senior officers and that some of the relationships were not fully consensual. The City of La Vergne reached a $500,000 settlement with Hall, who cited emotional distress and workplace misconduct in her filing.
The case also resulted in the dismissal of Police Chief Burrel “Chip” Davis, who was later arrested on separate charges, including aggravated kidnapping and assault involving his estranged wife. He was released on a $145,000 bond pending court proceedings.
Following the settlement, Hall has resumed work as a pharmacy technician—a field she was first licensed in back in 2018. Records from the Tennessee Department of Health confirm that her pharmacy technician license is active. The average salary for pharmacy techs in the state is around $38,000 annually, compared to the $51,000 starting salary for officers in La Vergne.
Hall continues to live in Manchester, Tennessee, in a home she shares with her husband, Jedidiah Hall, a former deputy with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department. Despite the public nature of the scandal, the couple remains together and still co-own the property. Hall has been seen wearing her wedding ring and maintaining a low profile.
Before joining the police force, Hall had aspirations of becoming an actress. Now, she appears to be focused on rebuilding her life in a more private and stable setting. Observed commuting in a modest vehicle and walking her dog in casual attire, Hall’s routine reflects a return to normalcy.

Her story has sparked broader conversations about workplace conduct, mental health, and the responsibilities of leadership in public service roles. While her time in law enforcement ended in controversy, Hall’s transition back into healthcare marks a fresh start.
