Gisele Bündchen is finally dating someone after divorce from Tom Brady – and you might recognize him

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady were perhaps one of America’s favorite power couples for many years. When the announced their intention to divorce, a lot of people were understandably upset about it.

NFL pro Tom Brady announced his divorce from his model wife, Gisele Bündchen, in 2022. The couple had been married for 13 years and shared two children together.

Bündchen and Brady first started dating in January 2007 and were married two years later, on February 26, 2009. The couple share two children together, their 14-year-old son Benjamin and 11-year-old daughter Vivian. Brade is also father to a 16-year-old son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan. 

Now rumors say that Gisele is dating jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. The instructor, who was a friend of the models, is now a romantic interest, according to sources.

A source tells the media that the connection the two of them had with one another was instant. However, they had started out strictly as friends and the relationship progressed to something more romantic later on. The source said, “Gisele and Joaquim started as friends, but things have progressed between them and they have been seeing each other.”

The two of them bonded more when Valente helped Gisele go through the aftermath of her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady in October 2022.

“Gisele trusts Joaquim because they had a solid foundation before things turned romantic. He has been there for her as she transitions through this new phase of life post-divorce and it’s been a really nice change for her,” the source shared. 

Gisele’s interest in the world of wellness is well known. And according to the source, Valente shares a similar interest to the model which has deepened their bond even more. The source said, “They connect on a deep level and are both into wellness, being active, and traveling. They have a lot of fun together.”

People was the first media outlet to break the news of this new relationship. 

In March 2023, Gisele gave an interview where she spoke about her relationship with Valente. She stressed his role as a martial arts instructor for her and her children, Benjamin and Vivian. While she did not confirm the romantic rumors, she said Valente had been a wonderful friend to her in a tough time in her life.

In May of the same year, she was seen having fun with Valente at a beach in Miami, Florida. Both of them seemed happy to be at the beach in one another’s company.
