As Melania Trump gears up for her second term as First Lady, following Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, she has also announced an unexpected new career venture.

Donald Trump secured a win over Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, paving the way for his return to the White House. He and Vice President JD Vance will be inaugurated on Monday, January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C. While the former president has laid out his plans for his renewed tenure, Melania has revealed she is embarking on a project of her own.

Melania’s Life Story to Be Told in Amazon Documentary

“Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized,” an Amazon spokesperson said. “We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.”

Balancing Life in the White House

In an interview with Fox & Friends on Monday, January 13, Melania confirmed she would divide her time between the White House and other key locations during her husband’s second term.

“I will be in the White House,” Melania stated. “And, you know, when I need to be in New York, I will be in New York. When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach. But my first priority is, you know, to be a mom, to be a First Lady, to be a wife. And once we are in on January 20, you serve the country.”

Reflecting on Her First Term

Melania has been candid about her challenges during her first tenure as First Lady. Speaking to Fox News, she expressed regrets about the lack of support she received and the difficulties of transitioning into the role.

“The first time was challenging. We didn’t have much of the information,” she revealed, noting that the previous administration withheld details crucial to the transition process. “But, this time, I have everything!”

Melania also pushed back against the perception that she is defined solely by her role as Trump’s wife. “Maybe some people see me as just a wife of the President, but I’m standing on my own two feet, independent. I have my own thoughts, I have my own ‘yes’ and ‘no,’” she said.

Looking Ahead

With a new term in the White House and a high-profile documentary in the works, Melania Trump is poised to take on a multifaceted role over the next four years. Whether balancing her duties as First Lady or sharing her story with the world, Melania is determined to leave her mark both in and outside of politics.
