Mom furious with coworkers stealing her creamer, so she leaves note that sparks outrage
If you’ve ever worked in an office environment, or indeed anywhere that sees workers sharing spaces like kitchens and bathrooms, you’ll know that it can sometimes be a trying experience.
For the most part workers are able to co-exist in relative harmony. Heck, some of my best friends in the world are people who were once strangers simply sharing the same square-feet of cubicle space as me.
Of course, there are occasions wherein complications arise and disputes occur. Chances are you’ll have read about some of them on the internet before, though I doubt you’ve seen anything quite like the situation that played out below…
Back in 2023, one mom’s prank on her office coworkers went viral after she revealed that she had been replacing her coffee creamer with breast milk!
As per the Daily Mail, the woman in question, named Savannah, felt the need to take action after having taken a bottle of her favorite coffee creamer to work, only to watch as it was steadily depleted over the course of the next week.
It didn’t take long at all for Savannah to come to the conclusion that one of her coworkers were raiding her coffee creamer, so she devised a way to get her own back.
According to the Mail, the mom replaced her bottle of coffee creamer with her own breast milk, then returned the bottle to the fridge without saying a word.
One week later, and with the bottle having continued to deplete, Savannah added a note explaining what she had done.
“Good morning!” it begins. “To whomever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week… surprise! You’ve been drinking my breast milk. Hope you’ve enjoyed. Cheers!”
She added: “PS: It’s organic, so no worries.“
Needless to say, those who saw Savannah’s confessional post on social media were quick to respond. Many were divided as to the morality of her prank, while others questioned its authenticity.
The comments section also played host to a number of other individuals opening up on times they had played similar tricks to teach co-workers a lesson.
“I left string cheese in my car in the summer for three days, then I put it in the fridge at work. Someone ate it!” one person wrote.
Would you ever do something like this if you believed one of your co-workers was stealing your stuff from a communal fridge? Let us know!
