Taylor Swift’s latest appearance fuels engagement rumors

Taylor Swift is perhaps one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. The singer’s reach is in the hundreds of millions, making her one of the most successful entertainers of all time!

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were the talk of the town because of their appearance at the American League Championship Series. The couple celebrated a date night at Yankee Stadium on Monday, October 14.

They attended Game 1, with the New York Yankees facing off against the Cleveland Guardians. While the game itself was enthralling, a lot of people were decidedly focused on Swift and her man.

Swift at one point, shared a drink with her man. And held hands with her beau. But one thing most people zeroed in on was a ring on Taylor’s finger. She was wearing a ring on her middle finger which reminded some fans of an engagement ring.

One fan speculated, “Is Taylor Swift wearing a (small) engagement ring?” while another added, “Did anyone just notice a ring on THAT finger on Taylor Swift or??? No?[sic]” People were curious about the ring.

Other people theorized about how the ring was on the wrong finger, one fan also said, “I’m not a Taylor Swift fan, quite the opposite, but I heard all the rumors and just want to say… this is a nice ring she’s got on for someone not engaged… I know it’s not on her ring finger, but it is the correct hand?”

While these comments were shared, a week ago, Troy Aikman stirred up speculation to an all-time high; during the “Pardon My Take” podcast, the ESPN analyst made hints that the couple might already be engaged.

The 57-year-old NFL legend shared that a source close to the couple had told him something interesting. He said, “Someone actually reached out to me today and said they might actually be engaged.” He knew he was the first person to claim this publicly, so added, “I might have broke the story[sic].”

While people speculated, People Magazine confirmed that the pair was not yet engaged. However, their confirmation came before this recent sighting of the pair and Taylor’s suspicious ring on her middle finger.
