Travis Kelce’s friend reveals the worst thing about watching a Chiefs game with Taylor Swift

When Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and global pop sensation Taylor Swift first sparked dating rumors in 2023, it sent fans into a frenzy. WWE star Baron Corbin recently gave fans a glimpse during an episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet.

Taylor Swift’s Warm Welcome

Baron Corbin, whose real name is Tom Pestock, was invited by Kelce to attend a Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills in December 2023. Corbin described his experience of meeting Swift, recounting how she instantly made everyone feel at ease.

Speaking to Van Vliet, Corbin said, “My brother joked, ‘I wonder if Taylor’s going to be here,’ and right then, she walked in the room.”

According to Corbin, Swift greeted everyone warmly, giving hugs and making them feel “instantly like family.” Her down-to-earth demeanor stood out, despite the enormous attention she commands wherever she goes.

A Unique Kind of Attention

Sharing a suite with Taylor Swift, however, comes with a unique set of challenges. Corbin explained, “I wanted to step out of the suite for a bit because mobs of people were outside, just taking selfies of her. It felt like the entire stadium was staring at us just because we were standing near her.”

Even in the high-energy environment of an NFL game, Swift’s presence created a buzz that was hard to ignore, showcasing her magnetic influence.

Genuine and Humble

Corbin revealed that he had several conversations with Swift during the game and was struck by her humility and approachability. “She’s super dope, super humble, and down to earth,” he said.

He also praised the atmosphere in Kelce’s suite, filled with the NFL star’s childhood friends and family. “Nobody’s got egos in there. Everyone’s super cool,” Corbin said, adding that Swift seemed to blend seamlessly into the group.

A Regular Night Out with Extraordinary People

Reflecting on his experience, Corbin shared details about a Christmas party hosted by Kelce, where Swift was also in attendance. “We hung out, went to the bar. I don’t know what she was drinking, but she’ll go,” he said with a laugh.

He emphasized that, despite her global fame and influence, Swift is remarkably relatable. “She’s just a regular human who happens to be probably the most influential person in the world right now. And unbelievably talented.”

Swift’s Ongoing Support

As the Chiefs prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game, Swift is expected to be in the stands once again, cheering Kelce and his teammates on.
